For the special edition of A Guide to the Good Life, Shadric Toop created a new book jacket design reflecting stoicism’s relevance today. Using a brush and ink drawing, the artwork features a kayaker navigating a rocky river, symbolising life’s challenges and the stoic philosophy of navigating adversity with control and resilience.
