Concept & Background
In 2003, I portrayed Brighton-based pop artist Simon Dixon in his studio. Dixon was renowned for his vibrant depictions of 20th-century cultural icons.
My approach drew inspiration from David Hockney’s ‘Joiner’ technique, which assembles photographs from varied perspectives.
