Concept & Background
The artwork for Die Entführung aus dem Serail captures the opera’s exoticism and drama through a rich collage of imagery, overpainted with oils. Commissioned for Glyndebourne’s 2020 season, the piece blends found images and photography to evoke the opera’s themes of love, escape, and intrigue.
