Concept & Background
The L’elisir d’amore artwork for Glyndebourne’s 2020 season was created using a painted collage technique, establishing a distinctive visual identity across the festival. Layers of imagery, overpainted in oils, give the piece depth and texture, unifying it with the season’s other illustrations while capturing the opera’s warmth and playfulness.
